Ambulatory Assistance - If you experience difficulty walking long distances or up ramps, please notify us so we can make arrangements for assistance at the port getting to the ship as well as any special needs on the ship. We want you to be comfortable and enjoy your vacation with us!


Scooter/PowerChair Rental - Most cruise lines do not offer this service. If you require a scooter or powerchair, you will need to bring your own or contact the cruise line for rental information.

CRUISE LINES IN GALVESTON

Carnival

Carnival Cruise Line is the world's largest cruise line based in Miami, Florida boasting 25+ vessels in operation.

Carnival was the pioneer in the concept of shorter, less expensive cruises. Its ships are known for their Las-Vegas-style decor and entertainment. The line calls its ships "The Fun Ships" and there are a wide range of activities offered on board. 


Current fleet consists of Carnival Vista, Breeze, Magic, Dream, Splendor, Freedom, Liberty, Valor, Glory, Conquest, Miracle, Legend, Pride, Spirit, Victory, Triumph, Sunshine, Paradise, Elation, Inspiration, Imagination, Fascination, Sensation, Ecstasy and Fantasy. The Carnival Horizon was delivered in March of 2018. 

Restaurants on board Carnival ships include Ji Ji Asian Kitchen, Carnival Steakhouses, Cucina Del Capitano, Mongolian Wok, Guy's Burger Joint, Pizza Stations, Tandoor Kitchen, Taste Bar, Chef's Kitchen, Dining Rooms, Red Frog Pub, Blue Iguana Cantina, Carnival Deli, Java Blue, Shake Spot, Pig and Anchor, and Fish and Chips.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN

Founded in 1968 by three Norwegian shipping companies, the first ship was called the Song of Norway and hit the sea two years later. 

Current fleet consists of Ovation of the Seas, Anthem of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, Brilliance of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas, Adventure of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas, Vision of the Seas, Enchantment of the Seas, Rhapsody of the Seas, Grandeur of the Seas, Majesty of the Seas and Empress of the Seas. The Symphony of the Seas will be delivered in 2018. The Spectrum of the Seas will hit the sea in 2019 and the Icon of the Seas in 2022.

In 2014 and 2015 Royal Caribbean introduced their new Dynamic Dining concept to replace traditional main dining room service on many of their ships. Complimentary table service restaurants featuring their own theme include the "American Icon Grill", "The Grande", the "Silk" and the "Chic". Guests staying in suites also have access to the complimentary "Coastal Kitchen" restaurant. 

Royal Caribbean operates two privately owned resorts that are used as stops on some Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries. They are Labadee, a resort on the northern coast of Haiti; and Coco Cay, a private island in the Berry Islands region of the Bahamas. Each resort features canopies for eating, lounging chairs, palm trees, white sand beaches and a number of activities.
